History of the Father's House

History

1964 - 2001

Over a period of 34 years (from 1964 to 1998) sisters of the Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary from Darmstadt served the Lord and prayed primarily for the healing of the people and the land of Israel in the Father’s house.

The house was then rented for three years by a congregation from New York who also had prayer and worship on their hearts.

Since 2002

By the grace of God, the Jerusalem community, which has roots in Berlin, was able to rent the father's house on a long-term basis from May 1, 2002. The Father's House currently has 12 beds. From the prayer room of the Father's House you have a view on the entire Temple Mount and Jerusalem's Old City. The Father's House is directly opposite the Golden Gate and above the Garden of Gethsemane.
